Only nine years old, the orphaned Oliver twist finds himself in one bad situation after another. Soon after he's thrown into a workhouse, Oliver escapes to London to seek a better life. But there he finds a world full of danger. Fortunately, his strength and endurance deliver him to safety, and finally to the comfort of a loving family.
This tale shows how honesty and courage can overcome corruption and be rewarded, even when the hero is but a child.
